The Topsham Beer & Bacon Festival is at last upon us. A pork filled moment in time, put together by the talented folk behind Good Game and the Pig and Pallet.
This little piggy fest didn’t creep up, it squealed madly onto the scene, hurling trotter-fulls of napkins high into the air, emerging from beneath the crumpled recyclable froth like a well-trained orca. Jumping upon bulging sauce pots till they burst into cascades of fairground red and stuntman yellow. Until finally it lay, puffed out, gently weeping and coyley gesturing with sweaty limbs to the cheering onlookers to just, look away, please. I think I’ve gone to far, sorry (not sorry).
